We’re happy to discuss it with you, but we’ll need to complete our own comprehensive examination before recommending any treatment. This ensures we’re giving you the right advice for your situation.
Removing a problem tooth is sometimes the best option for your long-term dental health.
Holding onto a badly damaged or infected tooth can lead to ongoing pain, spread of infection, and more complex (and costly) treatment down the track. A straightforward extraction now can save you a lot of trouble later and get you out of discomfort fast.
Maintaining good dental health is easy with Fix Dental. We offer fixed, affordable pricing for tooth extractions and examinations for every patient.
A tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth from its socket in the jawbone. It’s a common procedure that’s usually quick and straightforward when performed by an experienced dentist.
Extractions are recommended when a tooth is too damaged, decayed, or infected to be saved—or when it’s causing problems for surrounding teeth.
A tooth extraction:
At Fix Dental, we use modern techniques and anaesthetic to keep you comfortable throughout. Our extractions are a fixed price per tooth: $199 for non-surgical or $329 for surgical—no surprises.
You might be experiencing a toothache, swelling, sensitivity, or a visible crack or break. Sometimes a tooth is too far gone to save, or it’s affecting the teeth around it.
That’s when an extraction becomes the best path forward—removing the problem so you can get back to feeling comfortable
We’ll carry out a comprehensive examination to assess the tooth and surrounding area, taking X-rays if needed.
If extraction is the right option, we’ll explain the process, numb the area thoroughly, and remove the tooth as gently as possible. Most extractions are quick and straightforward
You’ll leave with clear aftercare instructions to help you heal quickly and comfortably.
If further treatment is needed (like an implant or bridge to fill the gap), we’ll provide a clear treatment plan and cost outline so you know your options.
We’re happy to discuss it with you, but we’ll need to complete our own comprehensive examination before recommending any treatment. This ensures we’re giving you the right advice for your situation.
Non-surgical extractions are $199 per tooth. Surgical extractions are $329 per tooth. Wisdom teeth removal is priced separately.
Most simple extractions take around 20–30 minutes. Surgical extractions may take a little longer depending on the tooth.
We use local anaesthetic to numb the area completely, so you shouldn’t feel pain during the procedure—just some pressure. We’ll make sure you’re comfortable before we start.
A non-surgical extraction is used when the tooth is visible and can be removed in one piece. A surgical extraction is needed when the tooth is broken, impacted, or below the gum line.
Most people feel back to normal within a few days to a week. We’ll give you aftercare instructions to help the healing process along.
Leaving a damaged or infected tooth can lead to worsening pain, spread of infection, damage to nearby teeth, and more complex treatment later on. It’s best to address it sooner rather than later.
