Stop letting a missing tooth hold you back
Even one lost tooth can affect how you eat, speak and feel about your smile. A single tooth implant restores full function and gives you a replacement tooth that looks and feels natural, helping you get back to living and smiling with confidence.
At Fix Dental, we make the process clear, comfortable and affordable so you can enjoy a long-lasting solution that truly feels like your own tooth again.
It’s not just a tooth — it’s your confidence
With our single tooth dental implant procedure, your smile will be restored to full function and confidence.
At Fix Dental, we offer both front and back single tooth replacements.
What can a single tooth implants fix?
A missing or damaged tooth is more than a small inconvenience.
Gaps left by missing teeth can trap food and bacteria, increasing the risk of gum disease and putting extra pressure on the surrounding teeth. A single tooth implant prevents these issues by replacing both the visible tooth and its root, keeping your bite stable and supporting the jawbone beneath.
At Fix Dental, your implant is made from strong, biocompatible titanium that integrates securely with your jaw. We then attach a custom crown designed to match the colour, shape and size of your natural teeth, giving you a replacement that looks and feels just like the real thing.
A single tooth implant is:
- A permanent, long-term solution
- Designed to blend naturally into your smile
- Strong, stable and secure for daily eating and speaking
- Supportive of jawbone health
- Protective of the surrounding teeth and gums
FREE Initial Discussion
We offer a free intial discussion for pateints thinking about getting an implant. The aim of this is to answer any questions you may have about the procedure and to check if an implant is a suitable solution for you.
Comprehensive Consultation
The first appointment will involve a consultation. In this appointment your dentist will assess whether or not an implant is suitable for you. In order to place an implant you will need to have enough jawbone, to find this out we will need to take a CBCT to assess.
Implant placement
Our standard procedure for implant placement is to utilize a keyhole technique. We place the implant accurately through the design and usuage of a 3D guide.
Due to this keyhole technique, the procedure is minimally invasive. The majority of our patients report very little discomfort and minimal (if any) swelling after the procedure and most are happy to go to work the next day.
Healing and integration
After the implant is placed, the titanium rod will begin to fuse with the jawbone naturally over 2 to 4 months, acting as a natural root. This will create a strong, stable foundation to support your new tooth long-term.
You’ll be able to go about your daily life as usual, with some dietary and oral care guidance from our team to help support the healing process.
Once healing is complete and the implant is fully integrated, we’ll bring you back in to take a digital impression of your implant and surrounding teeth so that we can make your final implant crown.
Custom crown fitting
The final step in your dental implant journey is the placement of your custom-made crown, which will be the visible part of your new tooth. This crown is carefully designed to match your natural teeth in shape, size, colour, and alignment, so it blends seamlessly into your smile.
Whether it’s at the front or back of your mouth, the goal is a natural appearance, a comfortable bite, and long-term function.
Once ready, we securely attach the crown to the abutment. We’ll check that the fit is perfect, your bite feels comfortable, and the aesthetics meet your expectations, making any final adjustments if needed.
What to expect from a single tooth implant:
- A natural-looking tooth that blends seamlessly
- A boost in confidence when smiling and speaking
- A secure, comfortable fit you can trust every day
- Long-term stability that protects your oral health
- Better speech, bite strength and chewing ability

Single Tooth Implant FAQs
Contact usHow long does a single tooth implant last?
With proper care, your single tooth implant can last from 15 years to a lifetime. Maintaining proper oral hygiene is key to the success of any implant, and our team is here to guide you through every step to ensure your implant lasts for many years to come.
What are the differences between a front vs back tooth implant?
Front Tooth Implants
Your front teeth are the most visible when you talk or smile, so we focus on implants that blend with your existing teeth for a natural, seamless look. The artificial teeth used for front implants are carefully matched to the colour, shape and size of the crown, with precise dental implant placement for symmetry and gum line contouring.
Back Tooth Implants
Your natural back teeth (molars) are designed for chewing and handling more pressure than front teeth, so we ensure your single implant is durable and able to support full function. While back teeth are less visible, it’s important to replace them when missing to help prevent shifting, maintain bite alignment, and protect your jaw health.
Are single tooth implants painful?
At Fix Dental, your comfort is our top priority. We perform our single tooth implant treatment under local anaesthetic, so you don’t experience any pain during the procedure. Some swelling or mild discomfort is normally directly afterward, however, most of our patients find the recovery process easier than anticipated.
How much does a single tooth implant cost?
At Fix Dental, we believe in transparent, fixed pricing — so there are no hidden fees or unexpected charges. Our back tooth implants are $3,999, and our front tooth implants are $4,799. We also offer interest-free payment plans.
How long does the whole process take?
The full process usually takes several months from start to finish. After the implant is placed, there’s a healing period (typically 2–4 months) to allow the implant to bond with the bone. Once it’s secure, we’ll fit your custom-made crown.
Will the implant match my other teeth?
Yes, it will. Our replacement teeth are custom-made to match the shape, size and colour of your natural teeth to blend in perfectly.
Can anyone get a dental implant?
Most healthy adults are eligible to replace missing teeth with a single dental implant procedure. During your consultation, we’ll assess your oral health, bone density and medical history to make sure an implant is the right solution for you.
How soon after losing a tooth can I get an implant?
Timing depends on your oral health and whether infection, bone loss or healing is required first. Some patients can receive an implant immediately, while others may need a short healing period.
What happens if I leave a missing tooth untreated?
Over time, the surrounding teeth can shift, bone can shrink, and your bite can change. An implant helps prevent these long-term issues by replacing both the tooth and its root.
Will I be without a tooth during treatment?
In many cases, a temporary crown or solution can be placed while the implant integrates, so you do not need to go without a visible tooth.
Is a single tooth implant better than a bridge?
Implants do not rely on adjacent teeth for support and help preserve bone, making them a preferred long-term solution for many patients.
